De-registrations of Membership

At its meeting on 28th August 2012, The Executive withdrew registration and membership from Zara Smith for an indefinite period for breach of Ethics Code 3:

3. Refrain from abusing a position of trust to seek special benefits, financial or personal gain. Practitioners must not engage in or encourage sexual intimacy with a client at any time during the professional relationship or for at least two years following its termination. The Code recognises, however, that the power relationship may not cease to influence personal decision making and that sexual relationships with former clients may never be appropriate or ethical.

There are historical de-registrations which have been deleted from the website because of time and because it is believed that the member is no longer practising in a health or social service field.
